Hi all. I'm posting up this message on behalf of a friend of mine:

I’m working up a feature on motorbikes for How To Spend It, the monthly supplement in the Financial Times.

The feature is in junction with American Chopper, the highest rated show on Discovery Channel that follows the Teutuls, a family of bikers who make extreme customised choppers for the likes of Will Smith, Steve Tyler and Lance Armstrong.

The feature will run in November, however the journalist is looking to profile individuals in the business community who are passionate about bikes. He needs to conduct the interview over the next few weeks. I need really interesting business leaders who are in suits from Monday-Friday and on their bikes on the weekend.

If you fit this description and would be happy to be featured in the Financial Times then please contact me at Braben on julie@braben.co.uk

Thanks.

Try and approach a local entrepenuer and billionaire! who lives in my part of the country...

owns Phones 4 U-

john caudwell..he is in £2000 suits every day and has a few bikes, and a yacht and a helicopter and a Bentley and and and ..

his head office is in crewe-! but he is a fiery businessman..but !! a big charity man so if you can get past his gatekeeper... maybe a mention of his caudwell trust or similar!!..given that it is the financial times!-- he is just considering selling his company too - for about a trillion billion zillion quid ! so wud be good in the FT

No. I don't fit the required profile: I am not a businessman, I don't wear a
suit, I don't read the Financial Times, and I use my bike predominantly
for my commute rather than as a weekend toy.
