OK, here's a pic of my bike:

It looks to me like a previous owner had a race can, but put the stock one back on before selling, and had to use an exhaust clamp to cover the gap.

It also looks a bit crap! Any suggestions to cover it up? What do other people do to conceal the join? I was thinking of getting something like this:

or this from Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Original-Ducati-749-999-exhaust-guard_W0QQitemZ7994670444QQcategoryZ10448QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem)

but aren't dead keen on carbon fibre.

Oh, and the other thing. The bolts under the footpegs that stop you grinding the pegs on corners... where can you get them from? M8 x 10mm I think, but that's a wierd head on it.

Cheers guys!

IMO that will look even worse.

Just spin the clamp 180 degrees with the bolt head facing out.

or get a decent exhausts sytem over the ****e stock one. or even just a nice slip on or somthing, thatd do the job

or what he said, spin it round so its facing the floor

:? It looks like there are two joins in the pipe? (link pipe?) Should there be a clamp at the top?

Not sure to be honest, haven't taken it off yet! What does the join on other people's bikes look like?

Even the original weld looks sh1te so dont worry, another way would be to get a stainless band clamp with one bolt and turn it so the nut is not showing
