2week old bike and i get hit by a taxi

got hit buy a taxi 2day

as you cna gess im really happy

only the fender was damaged when he decided to reverse into me ****

1way road and at the end left lane for goin left and right lane for goin right

i was in the right lane taxi in front bus in left lane but wanted to go right so insted of taxi goin off then maybe me letin the bus go or bus goin after he decided to revurse into me. stop cry when i was hitin the horn goin move out the way go forwads as i was tryin to hhold the bike up.

no damage to pug 406 est just a little red paint my fender all bent and marked


anyone no how much a new one is red fender for a K5 as he goin to buy me a new one?? and i aint goin to no till tuesday

That is so crap, feel your pain. A taxi once reversed into me- he reversed into a main road in icy conditions very fast. I was doing 5mph and came off.

The he told me I should have not been riding in that weather :evil: :evil:

agreed, he should at least pay for you to get the bike checked out by a mechanic, esp as your bike is in warrenty

lucky i keep the bbike up not on the flour it just the fender i checked the forks here a pic of the damage but i just fitted a fender exstender aswell and the bike was bling as i gave it a good clean last night

That sucks man, but congrats for keeping it upright. New fender would cost over 100quid def. Best go to a garage and see how much it is from them, they will have a list of genuine suzuki parts and tell you exactly how much it is with shipping and the like. Like said above getting the forks checked professionally may be a good idea.

From the pics i cant see much damage other than a small scrape on the leading edge, is that it? :?

Get a quote for a new one, about a ton. Tap the taxi driver for the cash, fill your tank at least 8 times with that.

Much better fun in riding your bike than have it looking absolutely spotless. What does everyone else think?
