Trying not to spoil it for anyone who's not seen it yet... but you can guess who it is, can't you?

Shame about that "mechanical failure" right at the end. After he'd just been overtaken, by the other guy.
Shame that Honda seem to supply him and him alone with endless RCVs that have "mechanical failures" - which somehow fail to happen until he's been overtaken on the last lap.
Shame he's not won a GP in almost a year now.
Shame he was crying in his helmet on the walk back.

I think the man has had a breakdown. Mental and emotional failure, more like... Can't say he deserves it, shame that someone with so much promise last year seems to have lost so much confidence (though we all know who's caused it...)

Good race all the same, happy to see Capirossi on the rostrum.
What was going on with Biaggi ?
Have they actually disclosed what the failure with Sete's bike was ?

I do feel sorry for him, It must be so demoralising to have Rossi kick your **** every other sunday with what appears to be consumate ease..
I think the press in Spain have the knives out for him as well.

For a mechanical failure it looked very much like he ran out of fuel  there was no smoke, oil or sudden speed loss, he just freewheeled to a halt

It makes you feel sorry for him a bit,

Maybe the winner uses some sort of voodoo or a juju :P

Come on guys have a little heart. Sete has had the most amazing bad luck this season, some self inflicted. You would have to be made of stone not to feel a little for him? That could have been 2 races in a row he won,(braking error last corner in Germany?)
Sete will still have a top ride next year and the sooner this season is over for him the better.

Little Loris? I was so happy for him to get a good finish! Max? He rode like a man posessed to get on the podium..absolutely brilliant!

And so what has happened to the Young Guns all of a sudden they are nowhere? Hopkins,Hayden and Melandri?

Do you think HRC are gearing up for someone in particular when you realise that the latest bike which is to be tested tomorrow....is a physically a lot smaller?

Believe me Rossi will be glad to move on to F1 when Dani and Jorge hit the Moto Gp scene....mark my words! 8)

Rossi has nothing to fear...Pedrosa and co will take a year or so to even start to challenege him. I feel very sorry for Sete, he is the 2nd best rider at the moment, but is getting worse every tim ehe is beaten!!!Well done Loris, an excellemt ride again

I do feel for Sete - it's the worst luck I've ever seen any biker have... worse than some of us on here :D

It's happening so often it's starting ot seem like "bad luck" is an excuse though. Several times his problems appear on the final few laps just after Rossi has blown him out of the race one way or another.

When was the last time anyone on here saw a MotoGP rider run out of fuel FFS?? I've never seen listings of the riders that didn't finish cos they ran out of fuel, etc. so it's got to be rare... and to happen right after Rossi had dealt him the killing blow... if it is bad luck, it's even worse for Sete that it very much *looks* like it's his fault and not bad luck at all. I hope he gets it sorted, since he was and still is the only real rival to Rossi.

On the plus side... I really though Sete was going to win, this has been the best/closest run race for a while and for a fair bit of it I truly believed Sete had got his mojo back and would break away from Rossi's curse...
