Need to buy some new gloves.

What the best thing to do? Have a summer pair and a winter pair?

Anyway, my view is all motorcycle gloves come with enough protection for my needs but it's the waterproofness and warmth I'm interested in.

Has anyone got any recommendations?

Obviously I need to try them on but there are so many out there that I thought you guys n gals might be able to help me short list a few of the top ones?

Regards

For warmth and good value, look at the Hein Gericke two finger jobs. Look a bit wierd, but keep you quite toasty.

I have got a summer pair (nice and thin) and a winter pair (not so nice and not so thin).

I have seen those....Are they strange to ride in?

They are a little bit odd when you first use them, but you soon get used to them. It then feels strange when you go back to normal gloves after a long period.

I used to use these when I was doing 100 mile round trip commutes every day. I have gone to more conventional winter gloves now as I don't do the miles anymore. I was finding with normal gloves my hands were starting to get cold at 30 miles and by 50 they were frozen. With the two finger ones they were still getting a little cool at 50 miles but not frozen.
