Quality mate. A naked ninja would be amazing.
I'd do the same if I bought a ninja, but leave the front cowl on so it;s like a sv650s. (can you do that?) Not to look like an sv, they're completely different, but that style.

How come it's shaking its head? You've not changed the riding position form teh looks of it, and the difference in weight shouldn't really make that much difference...
