Finally managed to get a couple of decent pictures of my new ride. It may not have the kind of handling that an SV has but I find it very easy to ride. I think it will do me fine to "learn my trade" in riding.

And check out my Pyramid hugger I bought on Flea-bay for £31

Looks OK, that. Good colour, too.

I know they must seem like good sense after what happened to the last bike, but CRASH BARS?

What you want, is nice dual headlights, and a 1200 engine...

I fitted some of those to my old 600 bandit and I was glad I did after droppoing it a couple of times  They might not look pretty but they do their job well!

Nice bandit BTW :D

Meant to say, I'd move the tax disc some place else.

Yeah, I know the crash bars are naf but they were on when I bought the bike and I haven't taken them off yet  But they are a good idea because of what happened before.

I do have a jack up kit still to go on so that should make it look pretty cool

Any suggestions about the position of the tax disc?

If you're going to leave them on, at least fit some high-up crash bungs or something so that it doesn't just roll onto the tank and mash it up...
