The sv already has one i think, it goes down the right hand side of the bike next to the clutch (on K2).

You don't need it, there is a breather hole in the cap.
Some of the American ones, (California models - E33), have an internal breather that routes through a charcoal filter.
i noticed the hole in the petrol tank when you lift up the filler cap. i wondered about the hose taht came down the side as well but didnt know what it was. any way you can route it up through the top of the tank? ive seen it done on bandits and gxrs before (road versions) and just wondered if anyone knows for sure? ive seen a kit on earls.co.uk but im not too sure if its what i think it is

The hole you see when you open the cap is the filler well drain, not the tank breather, the breather is in the cap itself.
