needs mirrors,
i dont think that, that is a TL, it looks more like a yamaha (with those brakes)
Pretty cool eh?

Looks a bit like a monster.. nice though.. I'm sure we could easily make a SV look like that.
Urgh, horrible!
Have you no soul lad?

Not really a TL though is it - the only thing off a TL that's on that bike is the engine
must admit not a big fan.
Is that not the trellis frame from a ducati?
I like it a lot. I want one of them. Can I have one please? I'll swop my 650 for it
Like it! Although I am not keen on naked bikes with clip ons... [-X

It's a goround up custom frame, that... Looks like a Moto Morini Corsaro if you ask me. Which is good. But I've seen a few nicer custom framed TLs.
I was eyeing up a slightly shabby TLR in my dealers today, £2500. I don't need that sort of temptation in my life! I won't be buyign it, but it does remind me of my long-term lust for a TL=powered Spondon

And fairing...
Why are people obsessed with clip ons on naked bikes ? Seems completely bonkers to me... Put some proper bars on it and it'll look much better.

i love it because its different and naked!
of all the bikes pics i've seen posted on here, thats up there with the ugliest ever
i dont see the appeal, i honestly dont. buy hey, would the world be a dull place if we all liked the same thing :)
Hey,
I don't mind it. I think it looks tough. I also like clip-ons on a naked bike... gives it an aggresive look. Just my two cents.

I agree Mitch the bike has "attitude" and isn't some nampy pampy crotch-rocket. A proper looking motorcycle. A man's bike*.
* Throws cat amongst pigeons and sits back to enjoy the fracas  .

And attitude gets you nowhere but the nick or the graveyard. Looks like it isn't finished, it would have more "attitude" with a decent set of Renthals and a bit more "bling".
But each to his own. I'd rather have my boring and "characterless" Fireblade any day....
.
I'm up for a go on it. Dunno about a long term relationship though :-k
I like it, looks kinda like this tho.....

Haha, sorry. I like the back and the frame, but I'm not a big fan of naked bikes in general. With the exception of the Brutale I think, but only just. I like some streetfighters though, which is odd. I think the front ruins it. Sort of droops off a bit. It need a belly pan, and some wavey disks to make it complete, and a decent front end!

thats an uno frame i think, terry shepard also do frames for the tl but not as nice looking, but weight saving and handling are much improved which makes them good as a track tool

the red TS framed bike weighs in at 165kilos, not bad when the original TLR weighs in at over 200Kilos.....yum
Only thing it's missing is OGRI stood behind it !!!

You know I think that looks absolutely fab!
That has a real classic oil leak and dirty jeans mood to it.We are talking retro look here...the great days of the Cafe racer. Fabulous period for biking although I really was too young to fully enjoy it. That was the way your racey type bike was before we all got plastics. Shame on those of you that dont know anything older than a 5 year old Gixxer!

Take a look at this cafe racer... I recall it being from the late 60s, early 70s. ;) ;)

it's a shame it's a photoshop... The fairings are real but look at the axles of the wheels. Every so often the broken part of my brain tells me to get one of those fairings. No, I tell it, no, but it won't be told.

Nice try Mitch! But Northwind put us all right a little while ago when the talk turned to whire spoked wheels. Some cheat by some French guys if I remember correctly.
BTW it is my understanding that a true Café racer does not have any fairings but merely clip-on's or dropped bars. 8)

No. Pre-dates Scrubs by a good few years. First said to me when I was an apprentice by someone whose first langauge was not the english.

Like the photoshopped SV. Shows what is possible.
Like the TL job. It's odd that the TL is now considered a nice tourer!
There is more to owning a motorcycle than riding it and if it was mine I would polish it every day.... Honest mister!!!!
