If you had a pointy SV then yes, SRAD shocks only for the curvy from what I've read.
i have recently put a K4 GSXR600 shock on my K4 SV650. So its a deffinite yes if you have a pointy model.
Went straight on with slight battery box mod and the lower nut and bolt from the GSXR
ah. just read you have a K2.
i am sure someone else will give you the answer your looking for

Thats roughly what i paid for mine.
It looks like the shock will fit but will lower the rear ride height. This can be sorted with different dogbones

the 04 gsxr is the one i brought.. to my eyes it looks the same size in height as the 02 stock or even a little bigger . either way its going in !! :D

Anyone know if a Yam TRX 850 shock will fit a curvy?I've got a line on one and wonder if it's any use.
Dogbones are what connect the suspension linkage to the swingarm. You will have to undo them when you come to fit your shock. I have found a pick of a bike that gives a good view of the dogbones. They are the two gold coloured items.
Different length dogbones will raise and lower the ride height.

other way round, longer dog bones lower the ride height.
JHS sell them

I have heard that the 01+ GSXR shocks wont go in curvey SVs because the spring is too big and will interfear with the swing arm. Don't know if it's true or not, but do check.
