Locals and visitors, be careful in the road works Gordano to Clevedon both ways, I've never seen so many in such a short stretch. All high level digital ones.
There must be a collective noun for so many speed cameras...
(note yet again I have no idea of the junction numbers  )

Have they activated them yet? The last 3 times I went through there they were all still wrapped.
That said, there seem to be alot of patrol cars on the M5 recently, as well.

Last time I went through they were wrapped, but going over the bridge today I see they had started coning so soon if not already. Its going on well in 2006 anyhow

The ones we've mentioned on the M5, before the toll booths on the M4 then there might still be roadworks before cardiff on the M4, though it's been a while since I've gone that far along, so a local will know better.

If you go on the M5, I would stay at the limit, but I've never had any problems on the M4 outside of Wiltshire.

Yeah, just recently there seem to be alot of cops on the M5, certainly all the way from the M4 to the end.
Thanks for the heads up, Rich.
Been to Portishead this weekend to visit relatives, more shocking than the Gatso's is the arrival of Ronald Macdonald!
Kids pleased tho'.

must be nice to live in a crime free area where they can now concentrate on the less important tasks of collecting revenue for the goverment, seeing as all the real criminals are locked away! :?

IIRC Avon & Somerset constab have an 18% arrest rate i.e. if you commit a crime, then you've got an 82% chance that they'll never touch you for it.
In our local paper the other week Wiltshire constab were praised for being one of the best in the country: 30% arrest rate i.e. if you comit a crime, then there's a 70% chance that they'll never touch you for it. That's supposed to be good FFS?

I thought that the revenue from speed cameras went to that county's police. I could be wrong of course. :?
