My first attempt at posting a picture on this forum so apologies if its not worked.

I wanted to post a picture of my mates mini project using an Audi TT engine. Earlier project involved a Civic Type R engine complete with original dash board and subaru seats.

If anyones interested.

Looks awesome! When my dad and I did grass tack racing there were a few minis with bike engines in the back.

whats the mini type R go like!

Went like nothing I've been in before! Sure I had oppurtunities to drive large, fast, powerful cars , but this scared the p*** out of me.

We were flying along a quite A road in Deepest Darkest Dorset doing about 80 in third, when he said...... We'll pick up some speed in a mo when it hits the powerband. :driving:

Sick bags at the ready! Then we slowed enough to take the 90 degree bend at about 50 to 60 by which time, I was praying to the lord almighty. :reaper:

Then anchored on the 2.2 Prelude Disc brakes and came to a stop on a 5 pence.

I needed councilling for a while after! And I now wet the bed occasionally

how much fun could you have with that...

One of my dads pals did this with a mini van about 10/15 years ago...

Engine didn't even have any air filters because the carbs sat in the footwell where the passenger should sit, Only place he could find to fit em... I shall try and get more info...

I had the "pleasure" of being a passanger in a GSXR1100 powered mini a few years back. It was pretty much standard apart from that, so lots of go, and no brakes. Never again.

Direct form a Civic, was cut down by the passengers side and moulded back together. So well infact its almost impossible to tell where.

Met two mad blokes at the Nurburgring last year that had a 2.0 Zetec powered Ford KA - was a real sleeper too! 8)

Pah! A friend of mine has a 180 hp GSXR1000 powered Smart car.

Now that is f**king scary as it lifts the inside wheels when cornering hard. Eek!
