he so conveniently failed to mention that while the car isn't the cream of 4 wheelers, it does cost over £60,000. How much are R1's now? About 9 grand? Let's see what car you can get for that:

If on the first clip he was not on a head to head race with the car then it would have been a completly diffrent thing. He would not have to worrey about crashing into the car. Thats the way 5th gear do it and shows in the second clip that he has nothing to worrey about going into the corners unlike the first clip where he has a great lump infront of him.

Possibly, but to be entirely fair there are points at which both of them seem to back it a bit 'cos the other is there.

With any given bike/car combination, I'm sure you could find a circuit that which either would do better.
