Hello all.

Remember me.

I am in the West End tomorrow night having my retirement bash.

So if I get a chance I might pop by and say hello, depends how drunk I get. It's the only Friday between now and Christmas I'm not stuck in Leeds so I will try and show my face.

I am already half legless before I start on the beer anyway.

Would love to but bikes been hijacked by the garage as I've been digging up my drive for the last four weeks! just to save a few quid on getting some one to block pave it ( £3,000) actually. May see you around as the teams having a night out in London tomorrow.

hmm, you want to be a bit more careful with your head, you'll be needing that! maybe you should wear your bike helmet more often??

This week i will almost defintely not be there (never say never after last week though!) as am going out for drinks with people from work. if i do make it it will only be to embarass myself while under the influence later in the night, so probably best I keep away...

With cake, stand-up comedy from Spidey, Mr Squid's swelling and an appearance from the lesser-spotted Sarj? How could I resist?

See you there.

Good to see peeps, enjoyed Spidey's tale of the run-over-foot, and thanks James for the tasty meringue doobrie (tip: make finger food or supply eating utensils ;) - every last piece would have gone then).

Glad to see Dan on his Speed Triple and BigApe's rather arty headlight lenses were most interesting  .

Oh, and a special pic for BigApe... No, don't get too excited - it's my corpse-like hands.

This is what they were like after the 20 mins ride home from Frith Street on Friday night. Simon - is this what yours go like? (Apart from the svelte lady-ness of them  ).

But thanks to the lovely pressie from Rictus, my hands will never be cold again!

Yup that's it. Just like that. Makes riding interesting when you can no longer actually feel your fingers on the levers. With muffs on you have to just "hope" that your fingers are actually where they are supposed to be and that when you squeeze the brake lever, that you ARE actually squeezing it.

I sympathise whole heartedly for you that you suffer from this.
