would 12Ah battery work on my bike?

hi, I recently purchased a new battery for my bike (YTX12-BS). It was meant to be a Varta one but they sent an Exide one. This isn't much of a problem other than the Exide one is 12Ah where my original is 10Ah. I've asked on another site if it's ok to use and they said it's fine, in fact it's actually better. Just wanted confirmation that this is the case really??

As long as it physically fits in the box it'll be fine.

Just to clarify for you ayfy, Ah is amp hours- ie, capacity. So the 12Ah one is 20% "bigger", if you like, than the original one.
