I saw a pointy SV (that's all I could tell about it, could of even been a thou- I only saw the tail lights) at about 8.00 yesterday morning on the severn bridge. It flew past going the other way, towards Wales, I'd estimate at over a ton!
I was in a black boy racered Corsa going the other way. Hello if it's anyone off here!

Nope not me.
I love that bridge - specially the pillars on a windy day

Im not a big fan of the bridge.... I try not to make any harsh movement on the throttle or brakes... not nice when a gust of wind catches you when going over the joining strips either.. back wheel tends to go walkies.... and I end up going all over the place then!

ive found the best way of getting across it !
go as fast as you can! it seems to work!
Is it true that you can not be booked for speeding on the Severn bridge as it is a privately owned strech of road? French company?
Hope so, since I was told I have been pushing my luck everytime I cross :)

You're true on the French Company bit, but unfortunately wrong on the other.
It is a privately owned stretch of road, but still governed by the motorways agency and DVL? as per their web site.
Therefore, motorway rules apply.
