Maybe he has some feline quality and only has one or two lives left, but if ever I go to Vegas I'm taking him with me  .

Are we redefining "lucky" to include "slid under a barrier and shattered like a china doll?" If so, then yes, he's very lucky :) But I suspect he's still just catching up to the average. Maybe tomorrow he'll find a £10,000 note in the street and he'll have it aced.
Lucky, cos any other mortal would have snuffed it ;).

Won't be no good though as apparently crossing 'seas' neutralizes such 'powers' but then again on Bigapes part , free holiday never hurt anyone
Cheers
Ben

That's what i mean. I had half a ton of plywood fall on me this year in the garage, and all I did was knacker a ligament in my knee. People tell me that's lucky. How many times have you had half a ton of plywood fall on you? Less than one? That's lucky. :)

I think they're more likely to sue me for plagiarism ;)
The list goes on, each more lucky than the last :)

If biking was all about riding to the letter of the law,the Highway Code,Bikesafe courses,IAM instruction et al then what a sad and boring activity motorcycle ridng would become in my mind. :?
Risk assesment should be left to the decision of the individual based on their own experience, knowledge and capabilities. Each rider can raise his own personal "bar" to the point in which he feels still comfortable. For any individual to exceed that point without any considerations of the implications should the action go wrong....is fundamentally wrong.
The story shared with us involving Big Ape I believe was a guy, (although being a little mischievous) carrying out an action on his bike that he has done a thousand times over. Simply he pulled a wheelie! He did not pull that wheelie when in between two cars...read his post properly.
Big Ape is a real boyo but I take my hat off to him as he has proven himself to have larger cojones than most of us, in getting back in the saddle and still riding as he does.
And to finish, to my knowledge largely it is he,himself that has suffered most when some of his errr antics have gone wrong rather than him involving other road users. 8)

There HAVE to be jammy gits in the world... otherwise who would we hear amusing stories about that for the most part have a happy ending? :D
Jammy gits are GREAT.

(I'll still poke him in the eye if I ever get to meet him though... ;) )
