not derry boots please

hiya peeps,,anybody know of any sales re bike boots ??i need a pair and now might be a good time .i fancy sidi vertigo /corsa ,,i could be persuaded into black rains but am put off by the reports on here reg waterproofness .i would only buy black rains as theyr meant to be all season ,but theyr not vg if they leak..iv got xpd ones now good boots but i want something more 'solid' ie protection i know altberg are meant to be vg but not my cup of t ,,so any ideas,/links .or advice/ comments thanks in advance :wink:ps im going to ireland in may so gore-tex(or similar)would be nice

ive got apair ofd sidi black rains and i've had no problem with their waterproofness. i would suggest the ally pally show but probably a bit far for you to go !! :roll: :roll:

yeah hazel ,will b at bike show so if iv not got new ones by then then ill b looking ,,just thought that some shop might be doing a sale over this period u know christmas sales and all that :wink: :wink:

alpinestars SMX3 goretex boots - can't rate them highly enough, they're more comfortable than my old Sidi's... I got em for £50 off at the bike show...

fc-moto.de are prety cheap all the time... I got my Vertebra II Tepors from there a wee while back for about 2/3 the UK price (cheaper than Black Rains, and better in absolutely every way)
