I need a new battery for my 2000 SV650. Where is the cheapest and quickest place to get one? Hein are sold out :(

Most Halfords don't carry the battery for the '00... Every superstore I've been in has had the pointy battery though.

I agree that MDS are brilliant. Even their own brand MDS batteries are claimed to be better that Yuasa. I use them to buy UPS batteries and their own brand MDS batteries is what is used in APCs.

Next day delivery and very helpfull people on the phone and know their batteries.

You sure mate? Mine has a 12ah Yuasa in, it fits fine... And I've got a 12ah Exid knockoff as well, exactly the same size and shape.

The dimensions stated on that website posted by Mike, would make the 12 a tad to tall!

strange my halfords alwyas stock it... :) im ok jack! :P

errr i think iv always fittedthe 12 as this is 120 amphrs and the 90 (9) amphrs will be eaten by the battery gobling machine we call the sv.. mwuhh huhuhuhuhuhhhhhh :twisted: :D
