Is this bike another to use the SV's v-twin motor? Maybe Italjet are goin' to go back to and make some larger bikes once more. Could be a rival to the Raptor I suppose.

I'm not certain, but I don't think so. Capacity is 647cc (rather than the SV's 645). The picture isn't really clear but the engine casing looks different too.
Too many ribs on the cylinders and the engine casings are certainly different. Being italian, it will probebly be a rotex offering or maybe a KTM or similar

Looks quite tasty despite that though... I like the side panels.
There was much talk last year of a high-spec American bike with a comet lump in too, the first was to be NA but with a supercharged version afterwards- don't know if it ever saw day. There was much talk of it being a "True American bike" on the website- engineering by a brit, design by a Frenchman, engine by the koreans but copied from the japanese... Perhaps the brake lever was American ;)

Yeah, they're normally only 50cc peds, so the 9 must signify the extra BHP

I like the look of the bazooka a lot. A sort of futuristic techno-cafe racer.
That must weigh at least 190kg as the bike they are basing it on weighs at least 180kg

Now if they based it on the sv650 and added a large(at least 20L) fuel tank the resulting bikes would be very nice.

If you look real close the motor is definitely a copy of the Hyosung motor just with a different look to the exterior of the barrels. The motor is so close that it must be made perhaps under license to a Suzuki pattern.
Personally I think that Bazooka looks the mutts wotsits! I would doubt very much if the bike has a weight much above the SV or Comet.

I'd be surprised if it's much past the Comet, but that makes it a fair bit heavier than an SV... Looks to be the same wheels and forks, as well as the obvious engine and frame, and I think the Grifon has the same exhaust too.
I know I said this before, but I'm incredibly impressed with the Grifon. The more I look at it the more I like it. It's a shame it's based on such an underwhelming engine and chassis, but I'll not count that against it. One of the nicest bits of bike design I've ever seen- like a more understated Raptor. Wonder what sort of street price it'll be if it ever makes it to the shops? Not so convinced by the Veruca though, it's very similiar of course but it doesn't hold together quite as well.
