Speedo freeze

I was just wondering if anyone else has suffered from this!!!!

Last week i had to scrap the ice of the bike to ride to work and when riding to work i noticed that my speedo had stopped working on my K3 naked, thought the unit had failed but when i got back on the bike at lunch time it decided to work again so am putting it down to the cold :?

have you had the front wheel taken off recently? I am thinking speedo rotor may be damaged.

only done 4500 miles from new, never had the front wheel off :?
