I've a knackered curvy engine in the garage which I'm stripping down, and in said engine will be a set of intake cams. The engine's probably (from the paint on the cases) at about 15,000 miles but spun a bearing, the bottom end's dead but the top's just fine.

Ideal for getting a bit more power out of a K3> SV... Replace your exhaust cams with these and you'll get a moderate top end boost. It's a fairly simple job if you're a competent mechanic- I did it and didn't set anything on fire- and can be done with the engine in the frame. There;'s loads of info on this on the net. You'd also need a set of cam chain tensioner gaskets, which are about £10 the pair. NOT minitwin legal! You'd make too much power anyway I suspect.

This would also work with a carbed model or a Raptor, or a DL for that matter. but will give less of a boost than you would get by fitting K3 intake cams and moving your own intake cams to the exhaust side. This costs about £130 though, so you pays your money and takes your choice

Not sure what to ask, make me an offer. I'll include the buckets so you'll have no mismatched wear issues (shouldn't be a problem anyway but no reason not to) and I can back you up when you're doing the work (or do it for you if you can get to Edinburgh)

Also got a set of engine barrels in the light silver, these are in pretty good nick. Never seen them in a running engine but there's no scoring or obvious damage to the wear surfaces. Paint is in good nick. Pics on request. £20- ideal if you're thinking of going to 700cc or fitting Hayabusa pistons.
