What is all this car crap we seem to be getting a run of on here lately? :?

Sorry but I have no interest in debating the four wheeled mode of transport.

*** RANT ALERT ***

I make no apologies about posting this, this is idle banter after all, with current topics on birdwatching, tenancy disputes, cameras, domestic disputes, football, you name it. Why not cars ?

I thought it would be quite amusing what with it being a Honda and a cage.
Plus the fact I am very proud of this as it is the first decent car I've ever owned (first one thats still in production) and I have had to work f**cking hard to afford it.

It does p*ss me off, some peoples hardcore biker (aimed at no-one in particular) "I'll eat my own entrails before I drive a car atitude."
I personally like having a car, I also find it very difficult transporting my my mountain bike to the peak district on the back of my SV, (I also think its probably illegal as well.)
My 64 year old mother isn't particularly keen on riding pillion either, when I give her a lift to the shops

If you don't like the subject, which should be pretty obvious from the first post, don't read it

*** RANT OVER ***
Apologies for the rant :D

Mate there is absolutly NOTHING wrong with that.
I sold my 99 Accord to buy my bike. I loved that car, mine wasn't far behind a Golf GTI and that's supposed to be a sport car.

You need to put one of these in, best for the Honda (VTec) engine is a Blitz induction kit. It also make the car sound awesome, especially in tunnels.

Just an example, you can pick one up much cheaper

Nice car, subtle understated, yet purposeful, I like it.

You trying to make a bit of apoint there Tricky? :) Maybe if you worked harder then you could afford a better car that you can splash all over here mate!
I am not hard core biker person although I have far more interest in them and have almost never found myself widely chatting about any car I have owned.
Cars are a tool to do a job but I have never been able to feel the same sense of pride in ownership unlike yourself.

Maybe consider getting a life before hiding behind the power of the forum for such a childish and oafish post.

Nerr, nerrr,nerr,nerr,nerrr! FFS. :?

Errr BTW..No apology for my retort.

Peter, my rant was not aimed directly at you (you just sparked it).
My point was that Idle Banter is for none biking posts, cars are not bikes and if you're not interested in a thread don't read it.
As for splash, it was a very small photo.

I own twice as many motorbikes as I do cars.

Ner ner ner ner ner ner (with nobs on) :P

Tricky, I know where you are coming from. The attitude of some bikers (no one in particular) towards people who appreciate cars stinks.

Personally, I love my car pretty much as much as my bike and have equal fun on both. I don't think there is anything better than going out and having fun on some twisties, whether that is in the car or on the bike.
