Does anyone know if there are any farms around Surrey areas that you can hire a motorbike and have some fun in the mud? I see there are a few quad places around but most online seem to be event organisers... :?:

No - but if you find any I'm interested too.
Personally I take a trip to Somerset twice a year, get a whole day out with a hire bike, fully insured, and a guide/mentor for the day for about £150 - group of about 4 people. We do 80 - 120 miles off road in the day, superb fun. However, something local would be good too.

my neighbours a few doors down go off most weekends to do this - not sure where but might be in/near surrey given we're in SW london. next time i see them, i'll ask and let you know, probably over the weekend sometime.

ok, had a chat with the guy this morning.

he's more into moto cross than trails, but suggested you look at http://adrenalintrip.extreme.com/forum/index?siteid=1 which has a list of tracks and other stuff.

also he says that both yamaha and honda run off road courses where you can hire bikes.

the place he goes to is http://www.essexmx.co.uk/

hth, can try to find out more if you want.

thanks for the info will - i also checked out the honda and yamaha courses and they are darn expensive for a day or 2. tigersaw comments above sound the business - surely there must be something locally...
