That's a pretty standard price. I paid that for my k4.
You can get cheaper but you'll have to hunt around and you'll get less choice on colour.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

If it is the same colour as my avator and has a black frame it is a K5 as the K6 model does not come in that blue. 4200 is what i paid for a k5 last June and is to much for a K5. Get 400 quid off and a free lid and stuff and that would be better

i havent actually seen the blue i have only seen the k5 blue but in the 2006 booklet it shows it to be a similar blue to the k5!

K6 blue is like a blue they had ages ago.

If its a K5 I guess a flat £4k may be nearer the mark. having said that, if you prefer the K5 blue then I suppose it depends on how many are left around. I reckon black K5s would still be going at a premium.

Hi and Welcome

Carsick is right you wont be able to get a new Black K5, they sold the last ones in the summer last year.

I dont like any of the new K6 colours, the "silver" should read "very pale blue" is the best of them.

Its a good time to buy a new bike, however you should be haggling to get the price down, or try and get things like a free first service, road tax, crash bungs or something like that chucked into the deal if they wont budge on the price.
