8ºC, Porto, Portugal.

It's weird here today, it doesn't seem that cold- no wind or anything- but it really cuts through you...

Captain Birdseye is launching a new range today - frozen biker fingers.
I had to defrost mine when I got to work this morning. I'm revising my opinion that heated grips are for wimps, into something approaching jealousy!

Oh I remember the days of getting into work, going into the canteen for my first coffee...

... and also filling up a hot water bottle from the urn! Back to my desk, boots off, warmed toes!

Bye the way - what the feck are Chillblains?!
By doing something like that my mother always said I'd get them, I never did and to this day no one has been able to tell me what they are!

Know exactly what you mean there Sharriso. ALthough i must admit, the other week i caught out IT manager having a crafty roll up in his office on the top floor - so we managed to negotiate a deal, that if the weather is pants outside, i can go for a smoke in his office, on the provido i keep it schtum.

 8)

Health & Safety - no smoking in the work place... Pfft.. sod that.

Excellent the only other option is to set light to some of our users (work in IT support) to keep warm

Does Mr. Peter Henry have some job vacancies and reasonably priced flats for rent there in spain? i wouldn't mind migrating till the cold is over :D

Don't speak any spanish though, so that might be a problem.

http://www.bfawu.org/health-temperature.htm quite agree. go and see your health and safety rep (hasawa74) and demand you go home and sit in front of tv with a hot cup of tea. :D
