Does anyone else think this is a waste of time? Not the cause, but the method of collection.
Wally the whale - genuine watering can (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/London-UK-Thames-Whale-Watering-Can-Wally-Willy-BDMLR_W0QQitemZ7213765194QQcategoryZ10897QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem)
Check out all those bids, then scroll down to the false ones.
If they really wanted to get the most cash towards the charity then why only accept the highest genuine bid? All those lesser bids are now worthless.
Had they set up a fixed price auction and give every one a replica can for their kind donation I believe would have been better.
Not only that, do a search using 'watering can whale', loads of (possibly bogus?*) cash-in's.
*My libel action get-out clause.
