Add my name too. 8) Well up for it!

Over 4,000 bikes descended on Kelvin Way from all over the UK to deliver eggs, money and Easter cheer to the children in the hospital at Yorkhill. From last year.

Looks like heaps of fun.

Cheers,

The more bikes that go, the slower the run gets, and the more abuse the clutch gets. Last year I didn't get out of 2nd gear :( the entire run!!!

Still good fun though driving up both sides of the road and running red lights the entire way.... brings traffic chaos to Glasgow for an hour or two :P :P

Hello Folks,

The event of the year? Never miss it. Bigger and bigger every year and its FOR summit. Was in the Evening times (Glasgow rag) recently I think, saying it takes the organisers a YEAR to get it together.( ....and as such their,MAG Xmas/santa run was/could suffer.
If you ain't tried it, you don't want to miss it.
Was near the front last year and seeing car drivers trying to squeeze out of side roads, and being accosted verbally by bike cops(your new best friends for the day) or Mr car driver having to wait for the "few bikes" to past, would bring a smile to any bikers face.

Our dillema this year is whether my good lady will have the confidence to do it with the SV :? instead of pillion. She is having to learn all over again after being off the bikes fur a while after a bad one...... hopefully get her out on the road next month and take it from there.........

Good luck with the missus Andy - hope the confidence comes back alright. Looking forward to the event after attending the Steve Hislop memorial run in Autumn. That was 1000 bikes through the borders towns and villages into Hawick. Good atmosphere for that one.
