Here's some pictures of my winter project. I'm almost finished building my pal's K5 GSXR 750 for racing in the StreetStock series this year.
Strip down to engine and frame then all the way back up with race fairings race lines / race spec oil/ lock wire all sorts of stuff to the bike etc

ok all finally finished....................woot :D
right b4 i post pictures i want some honest opinions here, i have been doing loads of bit's on peoples bikes latley ( you name it and i have done it) and am really thinking of building a buisness from this, starting very small and slowly building this maybe into something profitable. i am going to get Lee and Ben to help me think of some kinda web site to see if i get any interest (p.s. boy's you don't know that yet  )
so anyway..... here's the final build, and i love it !!!!!

Nice work jon
If you think you can do it, go for it dude! 'You only live once'
For looks, gold Gilles rearsets and a black can would set it off a treat (I can't believe I said gold rearsets, but they'd match the brakes).
But that's just to my eye, aside from that it's a sweeeeet looking machine. *sigh* I remember the days of the old black JPS race bikes - just black - just beautiful.
As for the business, if you got the capital to invest without setting yourself up for too much of a fall if it all goes flat - go for it.
To be honest, even if it's going to be a stretch for yourself, hell, life is experience - better to take an opportunity than wonder 'what if?' in years to come.

i believe he is mate!!!!
will be booking this soon so as to secure a place, going to go into the inters group
"gulp"
Should be fun !!!!
That looks awesome!
How about some rim tape?
that looks realy good, brilliantly understated, but I'd have imagined some rearsets and a race system would help in the racing (I don't know the superstreet rules though :?: )
Looks great, I'd sponsor you if I wasn't flat broke  , but if you can sort that lot out people are always looking for good mechanics. Were you planning to specifically race prep bikes, or do general maintainance with the business?

very nice, looks so nice!! me want!!
But why does it have a numberplate on? sure thats not road legal without lights, road tired etc etc :-k
Hmmmm - tyres might be legal, daytime MOT would cover lack of lights.
Looks very very 8)

hiya guy's
it has to have a licence plate on it as the bike is running in NG Road Racing, class is street stock, hence plate and road tyres......................well i wouldn't class pirelli diablo super corsas as road tyres........................... as mostly slick !

Wow jontoms that looks bloody sweet.
I used to live and work in Crowthorne not long back. It would be handy if you setup some kind of servicing dept as I'm always looking to do bits to my bikes and am fed up of going to Slough (berkshire motorcycles as I trust them and they are reliable). I live near Camberley now which is not that far from yourself. I've not used Hatfields purely becasue they seem a little expensive.
Cheers,
Dan
