Well, after watching the development of this and eagerly awaiting its release, this somehow slipped out under my radar. First thing I new it had been released was when I saw it going cheap in the pre-owned section of blockbuster at the weekend.
Not quite as realistic handling as MotoGP2 if I recall correctly (and certainly not a patch on PS2 - TT Superbikes), but still more realistic than arcadey. The analog triggers are superb for fine brake control though.
The "depth of focus" style blurring on the replays is stunning and I don't understand why it's not used throughout the replay. I can emphasise how much more realistic this makes it look. I seldom watch replays on games unless I've done something truly amazing/lucky, but with this is brilliant and I end up watching at least part of the replay of every race I win.
Gameplay wise, aside from the accurate Moto GP riders/bikes/tracks, there's an excellent addition of a streetracing league. As well as the usual sportsbikes and hayabusa/zx12-r clones (all fictional bikes in this mode), there are some great 600cc streetfighters. There's also basic tuning/setup options for each of the bikes, although no aesthetic ones other than paintwork.
If anyones interested, play.com have it for £17 or thereabouts in their sale.
