View Full Version : 2 cars on 1 insurance policy
Does anyone have one of these? I have been calling round and it looks like no one does this.
Help?
ta.
Someone must, you can get multibike policies so it must be possible.
Also what happens with the NCB in terms of having two vehicles on one policy?
May be wrong but I suspect not. :?
What used to be "Rider policy" for bikes is now slightly different in that you get a separate cert for each bike, possibly to do with new database for everything. :?: I used to get one cert showing "any bike owned by the insured" or words to that effect.
The nearest I've found for a car is when I shifted a car policy to MoreTh>n and they will give you the same no-claims on a second policy, so if you need a new policy for a second car at least you don't have to start from scratch.

I have multivehicle policies, but dependind on the number of vehicles it doesn't always work out cheaper As an individual policy you can attain high NCB but on a multiple little or none so it doesn't change all that much if you have the "odd" claim
providing your overall record is good
N.B. My premiums are in excess £10,000 for 4 vehicles[commercial] and I enquired about adding our 4 cars but it would have been about£1500 more than what I pay as individual policy units
In simple terms, you cant put 2 cars on one policy. I tried about 2 months ago for my dad
