It does indeed resemble a pie tray. Fished from the ditch or de-rigeur aftermarket add on, who knows.

I'd say SV, by the looks of the trellis frame... :?

I think it's a Bandit.
.
I was thinking that because of the clocks. But the forks and rad, plastic bit under the clocks and tank filler look SV.
not that I have studied any of these on a bandit other than clocks
I think it's a Bandit.
.
Look at the frame, just under the left handle bar, thats a distinctive curvey frame.
I think the bandit also have the crash bungs lower down on the engine.

But we all agree it was a foolhardy adventure to ride it in a ditch, right?

*yeah,yeah I'm on my way!*
I think it's a Bandit.
.
I've never seen a water cooled Bandit, (by the rad not the fact he's in it).
Looking at the state of the levers/handlebars I'm thinking he didn't ride into the ditch intentionally, I can't remember what circuit it was at, but I remember watching a sidecar race on TV many many years ago at a UK circuit, and one of the chairs went into a similar muddy ditch.

I suppose if you must ride into a muddy ditch on an SV, you should make sure it's a big one. Mine was only about 6 inches deep, complete waste of effort
