For anyone wanting to commute but save their SV (or other bike).

Its a 2002 (registered and first used in 2003) Gilera Runner 200cc 4 stroke. (19bhp).
It hasn't got the service book stamped, but all roller, fluid, and belt services have been carried out. It was my work horse, only ever used to go to Work and back in any weather. It has 26640 km (although it is a UK bike so 16650 miles). Its kept in a carpark at work, and kept garaged every night.

Issues:
Rear light doesn't work, think its a small wiring issue, seen many runners going about with no rear lights so assume its a common fault.

Its had a new front brake caliper fitted also as the bolts holding in the pads rounded off and you couldn't buy the new bolts, so i just bought a whole new caliper for £100+.

Theres a crack on the rear 1/4 panel and foot placing (See pics below). My drives really steep and I lost balance and dropped it. It slide down the drive. This was in 2003 but rode fine up till last year otherwise.

The exhaust is a little rusty externally. But as i say, it went through every weather, sun, wind, rain, snow, ICE, you name it, I rode in it. Coped every time.

Its literally been sat in the back of my garage since April behined my car (ha ha, which also hasn't moved since feb lol). The MOT runs out this year, hasn't got any tax though (SORN declared). (bout £30 for the year)

Im currently moving into my first house and desperatly need some more funds. It cost me £2600 new in 2002 and i'll let it go for £500 (no lower). Otherwise it'll be simply cheaper to strip it.

Otherwise, she still fires up no problems, and still runs peachy. Would make a great daily commuter bike (as it did me) or a little cheap project for someone.

Im in NW Kent if anyones interested.... Ask your mates..

Basically, the bike is fully running, but needs a little bit of work to make it perfect again. AS said, a perfect little project (engines a peach, nice and torquey), or an even better little commuter.
