Id have had plenty to drink. But as i tucked into my 2nd pint in the club, big fat will came across took the pint off me, smiled at me and said "joe, you know the game... out." so i shook his hand and left.
The bar steward.
The business which i do, also crosses boundries with the people who own the security firm which employ the likes of Will. SO theres been a long standing feud between our guys and their guys.
Its getting beyond a joke now.
But yeah... its true, a few pints of water before bed always helps prevent a hang over. Hangovers are caused thru dehydration so a few pints of water helps rehydrate your body thus preventing or minimising hang overs.

If you knew this, why did you go there ? It looks (from here) as if you went in knowing you were going to antagonise the management.

Im not letting some trumped up bouncer stop me going out. Ive been out many times and they just shake my hand.. other times, i get ejected. Roll my dice and take the chance.
Besides, if i buckled to their pressure, id not go to ANY of the bars, pubs or clubs in York, as the staff at all of them are employed by the one firm.
I didnt go to antagonise the door staff, i went with friends for our usual friday night out. They ejected me because of something which was said to another member of door staff 6 hours earlier of which i knew nothing about until afterwards when i made a phone call.

Well you make it sound as if the whole of York has an issue with YOU. Maybe you put yourself in that position, maybe you didn't. But it seems to me that although they have ROAR, to eject you, without due cause (after you have paid an entry fee) is totally unreasonable.
In which case do something about it. Have you been officially "barred" from said club ?

Not been barred.
I do some work on the side for another company, which has a conflict of interests with the company which employs the door staff.
When our company does something to upset their company, they make our life hell for a few days. I got a few threatening phone calls from one of the door staff, there'll be repercusions for them - not from me, but from our company.
Its just a battle really.
We all know where we both stand. Each side has got a mutual understanding of the situation.
Its just one of those daft situations where people know people, who know people, etc etc etc....
sounds very dramatic
should you be getting involved with this sort of thing, sounds like a gang turf-war.. in manchester you'd probably be shot dead by now
Joe, how to say this politely... about time you sought a quieter life methinks, you don't have to live life on the edge all the time y'know.
