Let me see now.....Catalunya: a small region seeking autonomy, in which the primary sports are Hunt the Sarsuela (played in every village) and Puke-up on Penedes (mainly Barcelona on Saturday nights). An area whose gift to the world is Orxata.......and ersatz Champagne (or Cava as they call it).

Don't THINK that it is well known for Rugby League.......at least, not until they whopped Wigan 38-30!

So, who were you cheering on, Peter? And do Wigan stand any chance against 'Quins on 17 April....could be my birthday prsesnt you know!!!!

El Boc...There is no team I enjoy seeing lose more than the Cherry and whites. I hated their smugness during their years of success, more so their fans that just kept on crawling out of the woodwork. I stayed with my team from the age of 5 and have suffered the downs as well as savouring the ups.

You might need to check your information my friend as Les Catalans are indeed a French side. To see Wigan beaten by them filled my heart with joy! However my own team gave a good slapping to those southern ponces "Quins" on Friday night!

If our players can stay away from disgusting thuggery as displayed by keith Newton last year, we should indeed be battling all the way to the line for honours this season.

Come oooon youuuuuu Saints! 8)

So basically, if I may summarise, what you are saying is, by and large, as a wind-up, it was about as effective as Gibernau's racing line-defence.....!

B**ger!!

I have to say the game is getting strange. There was a time when you knew well your enemy. saints, Widnes, Warrington, Anyone from the other side of the Pennines etc.

Then they go and confuse us simple mint sucking pie eating fans with name changes, introduction of southeners. but WTF things are getting very strange who let the frogs in?

El Boc...I would have to say that this particular attempt fell way short of it's target! Not up to your usual wind up expertise!

Tim...indeed such simple folk as Wiganers should not be forced to endure such a trial I mean where is the fair trade off between Uncle Joe's balls and Frogs legs?
