Hi guys, well at last I've found the one remaining pic of my old SV in one piece, and again in a million pieces... This happened back in July when I hit a car going up a hill, and hit 2 trees, and a lampost, then spent 2 months in hospital..

Enjoy..!

After:

Damage... all the plastics dead and gone, lights mashed in, subframe bent out at a 45 degree angle, front wheel buckled, forks bent, clocks mashed, erm... engine smashed to bits (someone still bought it for £200!)

Needless to say the crash bungs didnt save it this time!

Ride safe! Jake

Damn right lol not my bike under it, my stepdads fazer 600.

Saint Matt, thanks for your useful input  it was found to be my fault, though my memory of the whole day doesnt exist any more.

Sorry to have sounded like I was mocking at all, really didn't mean to be. The length of the "Gutted" was merely to state how gutted I am for you. And asking who's fault the accident was was just being nosey I guess. Anyway, I'm glad you are ok now, even if you can't remember anythign about that day.

Cheers mate, I hoped you weren't taking the **** lol.

I don't mind being asked who's fault it was, but I, and everyone I know don't believe it. Its on a dual carriageway uphill climb, and the crash happened just after a bend, where cars in the left hand lane always cut the corner. So the testiment of the one car driver behind doesn't seem right to me. Oh well.

I'd be happy to know exactly what happened, cos it would mean I could live and learn. But I can't...

i would have thought such a crash would be partly your fault, partly theirs - esp. if they were cutting the lines - you should appeal it (if you can?)

nah no point, i dont remember anything, my dad was riding in front and didn't see anything... the 1 witness and the driver of the car I hit say I swerved. Not got a leg to stand on really... and can't be doing with the hassle.

cheers for all your input guys

sh*t, your you have shown though SVs can be replaced with SVs, bit harder to do that with your life.

Just out of interest, what made you buy another SV curvy? i love me curvy but i think if i was in your situation i may have gone for a change, buts thats just me

also, glad the whole experience didnt put you off bikes

Plus I absolutely love them :)

Bikes can be replaced, we cant...
