Well, that was fun.

I just had a phone interview with Atos Origin. I'd completely forgotten about it and was put even more off balance by the fact that the phone call came in on my gf's mobile. That should have been expected as well because that's the number I gave cos mine doesn't get reception in the flat.

Anyway, I rambled for 30 minutes, trying to sound like I knew what was going on, but I think it can be safely said that I'm not gonna be working there.

Lucky that I have a job offer from somewhere else, really.

I hate telephone interviews. Had one a while bacckfor Goldman Sachs. They had me on speaker so I couldn't hear them all the time pus same as you I forgot and had a stinking hangover DOH!

Glad to hear it, cos I honestly don't think I've got this one.

Luckily, I wasn't hungover; I don't drink very much. :wink:

I'm still pretty happy. I was offered a job with the company I did my industrial year with. We're yet to discuss exact terms but they're aware of the going rates for my skills and since I've already worked with them for over a year, they know what I'm capable of.
I've also had assurances that the parts of the job I really disliked will be changing, anyway. Those bits are going to be given to new students.
