I had an off....

On the 1 Feb at about 07:50 a minibus taxi did a u-turn in front of me...
I managed to get the bike past the front of the taxi but the left side of my body impacted the taxi...

I had a lung contusion and severe deep tissue bruising on my left shoulder and back.
Im sure my jacket saved my life cause it could have been alot worse...

Na its being fixed up it was mostly cosmetic... Im thinking of selling the SV and getting myself a track bike...
Its becoming to dangerous on South African roads...

Wow. I'm sure the guy did just drive off... Does the damage call for a rebuild, or what? How fast were you going?

It's been about two weeks now, how's the brusing? I still have a little pain from my off in late january - but mine was nothing compaired to yours.

Well he didnt drive off, I have his details but I cant get hold of him... I need to send him a lawyers letter stating that he needs to pay my 10% excess...

Im still quite sore today I dont have any pain killers left...
I hit the taxi at about 60kmh... the more I think about it, it looks like I managed to get the bike past the front of the taxi and my body hit the taxi... the damage was caused by the road...
