View Full Version : Llandow Track Day 20/03/2006
A track day at Llandow (not far from Cardiff) is being organised by All About Bikes in Bristol.
Briefly, the details are:
£65 for the day.
£30 deposit; rest paid on day.
No noise limits.
Max. of about 50 people (currently about 25).
15-20 min sessions of about 15 people, split into novice/intermediate/fast.
If you want any more details then talk to John at All About Bikes or PM me.
I am fairly sure I am going but would be good to get some more SVs (or SV650.org-ers) there.

Haxsaw, how did this go ?
Maybe he's still going round & round
.
Absolutely brilliant, thanks!
There was only about 15-20 bikes there, which were split into two groups. This made it very relentless since by the time you finished your session & had sorted your head out, it was time to go out again :D
Weather was ok - cold wind, but no rain thankfully.
All I need now is to re-spring the forks & get some rear-sets (rear brake lever is chamferred to a point, as is my right boot!)
my bike is down with John now I forgot to ask him how the day went
Peeps on TLZ (TL Zone) are looking to rent the track out for the whole day.

If the ****er who had me off my bike in December had done the decent thing and accepted liability, rather than stringing it out for months (even though he'll inevitably lose), I'd have gotten some leathers and been able to take part in this (it's only 10 minutes down the road from me).
EDIT: I was talking to some of the SV1000.zyns lads about this and whilst they enjoyed it, they reckoned it was a bit small for the 1000s. I take it that 650s have no such problem? I know it's v. popular with superlights.
