my lovely g/f bought me an electric guitar for my birthday yesterday :)

just wondering, are there any good sites (free of course) that give tips and lessons online ?

im interested in learning jazz/funk blues stuff.

like colonel les paul, zappa, king crimson, the allman brothers, and just some funky stuff :)

cheers

This place has some good stuff, especially for getting chords http://www.looknohands.com/

I'm using the Dorling Kindersley KISS guide (book) to playing guitar which is pretty basic but has loads to work thrugh... and easier to have that open on the table than something on the PC. Tried a video tutorial thing buts it's not as good as the book.
