i bought rst pro race suit and got size 40 and its too small too short  (high pitched voice) and i cant fit a back protector on with it. do you think a 42 would be big enough or a bigger one be better. this is my first 1 piece and not sure how tight/ slack they should be so any help would be great
thanks guys Tom

Not being very slender or long myself :P

If it zips up when new, it will fit properly within a few trips. leathers need to be tight and they do give a lot with use. Take this advice from a fat barsteward :P

6Ft! That's never going to work with the RST sizing... I got a size 42 and it only just fits for height and I'm 5ft 10...

generally in leathers if you go a size down form what you usually are the leather will stretch by 60% therefore being the next size up. If the 42 is still tight but you can fit a backrotector in it then go for the 42, however if you can get the 40 done up, even though you have not got a back protector in it then wear it till it breaks in then add the back protector.

In my opinion the 42 would have done you better as that will stretch to your body shape in all tight spaces and you will have the protection of being able to add a back protector. Not ony that but from what i know about fitting leathers the difference is not much in the tight places ;) so will fit you fine in a couple of weeks.
