I know its gone three in the morning but the wind is so strong its set the alarm off twice on the bike and now I can't get back to sleep!

Its a good job I still have a week off otherwise I would be up for work in one hour!

Sigh, sorry just needed to rant!

If tonight is a sample, be careful out there this morning folks!

Cheers

At 3am this morning i was in the middle of performing a full system recovery on my lap top after a fistful of worms (w32.sinnak) and viruses (cant remeber which) managed to get through all my norton security and screw it up big time.

Im here popping the proplus and od'ing on coffee in an attempt to stay away. I finally got to sleep at about 5am, and was up at 9 (shoulda been up for 6.30 but i slept through all my alarms).

  Computers are great - cept when they go T/U!

Just about got it sorted now though. Gonna run live update on symantec when i get a free moment at work, then a full system scan and hopefully all should be right.

Then just the damned problem of reinstalling all my software again... :-(

Yes, true - sometimes these alarms are just a little too sensitive - even so though - logging on at 3am? Cripes - I think even my PC might complain about that !! Try horlicks next time Rich!!

bah.

last nite i was riding through that.
on the motorway, had to use all my strength to keep the bike in a straight line, laying flat against the tank.

guy on a pan infront of me didnt seem to have any problems at all, he was wearing a high vis vest and i could see him for miles. i could see his vest more than his tail light you know.

also stopped for a break and spoke to a scottish man on a KTM making his way to spain.

was good fun :)

Just got myself out of bed, the wife is just doing some breakfast for me, and after a coffee I will feel more human and your be able to talk to me.

I think the problem was my bike cover is not tied down underneath the bike and I think it just caught the wind and made in rock. Needless to say I shall be tie down the cover this afternoon.

On a side note, GYKD don't you create ghost images of your PC's laptops? For logicaCMG to whom I work for, we have ghost images of the OS, office app and virus settings that we ghost run ghost on to re-install. Would save you a shed load of time!

bikeageboy, sounds like you did have some fun! I wish like the KTM guy I was goig to Spain!

Anyhoo time to get a coffee, cheers folks, horlics on standby tonight!

Horlics
I find this more effective

However Horlics is probably not so hard on the old liver :D

I had no Idea Skip, I am in Outsourcing up in London working on the UCLH site. I joined last year in November and my Eter timesheet system has still not been set up properly

I still can't pick up my logica mail but if you fancy meeting up or just having a laugh drop me a PM?

Bikeageboy: Its sunny and blue skies where I am no wind now, going to take the bike out sortly for a run and a clean later, the muck of the roads is really hitting the bike hard, looks like toothbrush time!

Cheers
