Can anyone recomed a good paint for doing my garage floor? And should I be a tart and colour code it to my bike?

There are specific paints for garage / workshop floors, i'd tend to use one of them, think there either red or grey so if either of them matches your bike go for it.

WATCO concrete floor paint. 01483 425000...might be cheaper from them direct?

We use it too paint the shopfloor at work, comes in 5 litre tins, various colours, cream, battleship grey, orange and terracotta.
We get ours from a builders merchants, will chase up purchasing to get prices.

A good little tip.
Mix in sand before applying too floor, it'll give you a nice non slip surface to ride in on.

Hope this helps

External house paints are pretty good for the floor as well (if ya have any leftover from doing your house) dunno about the cost effectivness though :?

Did mine with some special garage floor paint from B&Q, battleship grey but they do a variety of colours.

I would recommend using a tin of concrete sealant first, I then did 2 coats on top of this (the first coat of paint took me an age to do as I was basically filling in the gaps in the concrete, 2nd coat was a breeze), took me a long weekend in total. Did it 18 months ago and still looking as new (although the bike sits on a mat so the side stand doesn't scratch the paint).

Well worth doing, & if you can match it to your bike, go for it!
