as above ,any body rec a good one??iv used super glue and theyr solid until i put the grips onto heat and then the glue goes all soft (oerr) and i could/can pull them off the bars .do i have to use a '2 part 'glue ?some sort of epoxy maybe ,or plain old evo-stick.i think itll have to be heat -resistant ,its worse on the throttle side (plastic tube on metal)so much so that when bikes running i can rotate grip without the bike revving .anybody done this ?,any tips folks

Try Renthal Grip Glue, Might work. Worth a try though and its not too expensive.

Before winter came, I got some super glue to put the heated grips on. Now winter is going I still have not put the heated grips on!

What ever glue you use, be sure that it wont melt the grips. Talking from experience here

Hello Jim

Loctite495 Instant Adhesive , appropriated out the work.
Was having the same problem, diagnosed after SV not going past 87mph then later 103 coming down the motorway from cupar! Wires fouling the throttle cables.Doh!
That glue did the trick . They are solid after 2 months constant use.

Come on then - make up your mind big fella!

If there's a gem of info in there, are you going to share it with us. My comments by PM were purely speculative and not founded on experience.
