Take some bungies and strap yourself to his bike.... It'll be quicker, he won't notice and you'l save on petrol
.
I went there many years ago, when Chech etc (can't spell it) was still a Communist place. It is, I think, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - lots to do and see. Not a huge place though. Very hot and airless in summer, and even then full of East Germans. Lots of bars, beer good and cheap - well it was then, this is 1984!

Its very very differant now. Not so cheap at all. But, still very hot and airless.
I was in Budapest last summer, not a million miles from prague, and it has a lot more of the old communist bloc feel about it. We got an amazing huge apt on the Danube (right alongside Elizibeth Bridge) for next to nothing. Also a very impressive city, and worth a look.
Hotter than Hades though. You will do well on your bikes. Just drink LOADS.
Oh yeah. I have a theory... I have noticed when its really hot (like >100F/40C) wairing those mesh biker Jackets means you end up really dehydrated. But, when I just strip out all the liners out of my ordinary jacket, because its windprof, I dont get so dehydrated.
You sweat no matter what. But, with the mesh jackets, even though you are sweating, and you are roasting, you are sort of shivering :?
Its almost like your body says, ok, right, forget this sweating lark, its pointless with the windproof jacket, but keeps pumping it out with the mesh one. And, this ends up just feeling weird since its evaporating so fast...
or something. Might just be me. Loads of lads out here just wair a t-shirt and jeans in the summer...

Oh and a large number of the streets are cobbles (in Old/New Town they are).. so it can be rather slippery.

Ive been there a few times. Its nice. Its a bit like Amsterdam in that you can take it on two levels...the architecture and rich history, or the beer and shenanigans.
I've never really considered riding there tho as I'm not sure unless you did a bit of a detour that the routes exciting. And its so cheap to fly there. Some nice forests not far tho.
It will be hot in summer. Its safe but there was a reputation for gangsterism and vehicle theft a while back in that whole area, so a few bike precautions.
