Holy ****ake mushrooms. That's just erm, wrong..
Is it just me or did anyone else find themselves leaning left and right and also uttering those words we all do when 'occasionally' fitting through a gap we thought was bigger (i.e. Oh sht, oh sht, oh sht - somehow that seems to make you and the bike narrower I have found)
He can't be on a big bike, I think they have issues with 'big' bikes like 600's. Either way that is a very hairy ride.
Holy F3ck.
Mental.
I was also starting to tilt my head left and right.
His bike must be really narrow and very short wheelbase
I wonder what hospital bed he's currently in??

Yes.
I dont see anything midly interesting on that. Its not as exciting as the Greek one that was floating about. Like spidey, im sure if us london commuters videoed themselves it would make you country bumpkins, shake thier heads is disbelief.
I have to agree with Viney here. Although there are some tight gaps, its just like it was on the A2 this morning. 13 miles of solid traffic all the way from Dartford to Blackheath commen.....
Although he does get up to speed, i didn't think anything special of that, and it wasn't really excessive.
The only real issue I could see with that is braking distance and reaction. If someone pulled straight accross lanes he may have problems stopping in time. But that saying, every country is different and there may be more respect over there. People may not feel the need to swap and change lanes when the traffic moves. So to some people here that may seem crazy, but it could be perfectly normal over there.
I want to video my run to work lol.

I reckon watching someone else filter is much scarier than doing it yourself. He was going a hell of a speed though.
Meh, was going a bit faster than I would have, and went for some gaps I wouldn't but I don't know the road. If you commute in london for a couple of years this sort of stuff is only a step or 2 up from a fast run for some.
Either way the guy is a TW*T :toss:
You're just jealous :laughat:
ahh well you never know he might get knocked off and killed and mentally scar some innocent person just because he was riding like a complete and utter :toss:
Jealous, not quite.
I see around 1 serious accident per month coming home and im not scarred yet? In fact, on the A2 about 3 weeks ago i had a guy come right up the inside of me (im between 2 lanes, hes joing my inside lane from a sliproad) and he simply didn't judge things right, hit the brakes, and rammed a Focus Estate. This was about 2 meters to my left.
AS a result, the guy flew up in the air (About the focus's roof height), flipped over and landed on his back. The bike got totalled big time and also flipped (back over front).
Didn't seem to effect me, or the driver of the car he hit, nor the 3 cars and bikes that stopped around us.
Gladly, all involved were ok and only pride was hurt, but he "looked" lucky to get away. Didn't scar me though.
I do understand you point though, but he wasn't riding like a "insert the appropriate smiley here" though. Just a little fast.
Remember, gaps on cameras/films etc seem tiny, yet when your on a bike, those gaps are far more judgeable and its a lot different.
Its like "playing a computer game" then going out and riding on the real road. Both look very very similar, but are totally different.
My point is that it's not just the rider (us) accidents effect, their are others on the road and if that person is scarred because of our actions thier is no-one else to blame. If it happens to be the cages fault, No i have no sympathy for them, but if you ride like a loony then someone is going to get hurt (possibly). And that is truly tragic!!
But who these days would be concerned about the other party? Im not saying it to be nasty, and there are those few people out there still, but mostly these days, no-one would care. Its just the way things are now.
Especially if i'd just crashed my bike, being my fault or someone elses. I still wouldn't be bothered about the person in the cars mental health, i'd be more worried about myself, my bike, and how much its gonna bloody cost me to sort it. If the person was injured, yeah ok, i'd be concerned, but for their mental health, thats down the individual and their strength of mind.
An accident like that wouldn't scar someone for the rest of their life. MAybe a few restless nights, but they would get over it easy enough.
(Unless it was a serious one like a decapitation, in which case i wouldn't care anyway, is i'd be dead). Part of the risks of riding a motorcycle. If your going to worry about things like that, then why ride a bike at all?

If i was in a car and I knocked somebody and hurt/killed them, and it was their fault then maybe I wouldnt feel that sorry for them as it was their fault (I dont know as ive nevver been in that situation). But not all people are the same as you and I, are they??
And im not worried about it, Its just something to mull over when you consider someone that rides like the guy/gal in the video. Last year I did go through a of getting worried about crashes un all (part pressure form the wife) but i decided the pleasure i get from riding a bike outweighs it so I bought another T'Cat, and love it :D
Nahh man, im not arguing, just chatting :) , its Friday afternoon and its "one of those afternoons of boredom"

Well dispite riding pretty much every day and riding in a spirited manner almost every time I'm on the bike, the only times I've fallen off are when I wasnt speeding or doing anything else silly. Just because someone somtimes rides like a luney doesnt mean they are doomed to die because of it. What you're saying sounds like arrogant government health and safety rhetoric. I don't need saving from myself, thanks.
As for scaring other road users...
My priorities in life are to live it firstly, then to not prematurely end it for myself, then my family, then my friends and so on...
Not getting killed because it might upset an anonymous stranger is so far down the list it's barely a consideration.
