Posted in today's South Wales Argus.
Gwent police are offering free riding assessments at Abergavenny Bus station on April 22, May 20 and June 17 (although there are more dates planned which will be announced later). The assessment consists of a briefing by a police rider, an half hours ride around the roads of Abergavenny, then each rider will be given a debriefing and an advisory sheet with any comments. Riders wishing to attend do not need to book and should turn up on the day and speak to one of the police riders present. Seems a good idea to me if anyone is interested in turning this into a possible rideout. I also know the police normally charge quite a bit for this type of thing (I think it's normally about £150). So if anyone fancies this let me know and maybe we can stick it in days out.
