Maybe if he had not have been pointing at the camera (1st pic) he would have made it round the not so very tight bend :lol:

I'm wondering if the crash bar touching down actually caused the crash.

Yep, you can see it (almost?) touching down from the second picture onwards, but the sparks seem to be coming from the foot boards... :?

Think those are Killboy photos from Deal's Gap... There's anopther excellent set with a Fat Boy riding right into one of those hideous tourer Harleys.
If I was touring the US, I'd definately conisder a Harley as a rental... There's just something right about them. I'd never buy one but for riding across Arizona...

Yes the bike was probably levered up and the front lost traction.
