What do you think? My bike is red and it's getting sprayed black, I thought I might give it a little personal touch. I got the idea of an SV1000 that I seen on bike pics.
Looks like Rictus' old bike in pointy form.
Do you like it? I'm pretty confident that it will turn out the way I want it. I wouldn't mind a few opinions on it though before I get it done.
Doesn't matter what I think. Do it if YOU like it.

If it can be done and you like it then it will be fine.
I like it and it will stand out from the crowd.

I think it could do with more yellow on the tail, and 2-tone wheels. Black spokes and yellow rims maybe (usually I hate that, but it'd look grat in this case Ithink. And I'd have the yellow on the nose follow the line of the headlights.
Plus, I'd get the swingarm and fork lowers coated black if that's within your means, and the radiator cover. And maybe ceramacote the exhaust black. And black clipons ;) But that's all detail work. I like it- very bold, maybe a bit garish so you can expect to have people not like it, but who cares?
How do you find those mirrors? Saw 'em on Ebay a while back, they look seriusly trick...

Its a police R1. They had it on display at Hastings last year and i saw another on the roads the same day.
I think it looks good tho if you can ignore the above issue ;)

The only thing I think I would change if it was my bike would be to continue the yellow strip on the fairing across onto the tank and also I wouldnt do the wheels two tone I would paint them completely Yellow.
I actually really like it, just the way it is.
I don't know why because I wasn't expecting to at first glance, but I do. I really really like it. I'd leave the wheels exactly as is too - something a bit different.
Steer clear of this 'Rim Tape' malarky - I mean, it just sounds rude for a start! :wink: But it's also sooo common. :roll:

What would finish it off just nice is a pin stripe (very thin one) between the two colours. Not sure what colour would be best though....

Yeah, I like that idea better. The half and half wheel thing is too much... Wouldn't the rims look... browny once in motion?
Other than that, it looks different. I wouldn't do it, but I am sure there are things people don't like on my SVen. ;)

I really like it, but I would do the wheels completely yellow. :D
