Fair play to the porridge donkies. =D> =D> =D>

Mind you, they were helped in no small portion by some atrocious handling and basic errors. Against a team like Scotland you have to do the basics properly or you'll get a stuffing. Like today.

Yup, that's what i thought too. England were always the more dangerous side- Scotland still can't run onto a pass to save their lives- but England just weren't solid enough when recycling after tackles. And we do seem to have got pretty good at that sort of opportunistic play.

With the player resources at their disposal England should win every time against the home nations. However I think it is marvellous when they dont! Particularly against Ireland!

I bet there were a few kilts getting lifted in merriment last night!

It was a fantastic result for Scotland.....just makes one wonder why they can't beat Italy.....

On a serious note, I heard that there are only 5000 regular Rugby players in Scotland, mainly because it doesn't feature on most School's curricula. That's terrible, and I hope this kind of result will increase the game's popularity over the wall.

Aye that sounds about right... i played both types of Rugby at school when I lived in Harrogate, (prefer League myself) and we played both at school regularly. But when I moved back home, I had a total of about 15 hours of Rugby in five years... Not really the way to start kids playing...

I played when I was younger- I had no choice, Richie Dixon (the SRU coach at the time) was the head of the PE department. But I kind of lacked the build for the professional game ;)

Good luck to the Scots, played better than Us, we seemed to be out of ideas and couldnt string a series of passes together to save our lives. Any more like that and the Italians will be beating us as well.

An embarrasement to be English on saturday.

AWFUL play, international players, and every feckin time we got tackled we lost the bloody ball. Disgusting playing by the english, i hope they are ashamed of the performance.

I hate to say, well done Scotland. Its good to see them getting their asses in gear, but did you really have to beat us of all teams

When I played in school I was a front row prop...

Did you go to a girl's school? :)

My edge was unfeasable speed. Well, when you weigh 40 kilos and you're being chased by men the size of vans, you shift...
